Crouching Tiger Hidden Kitten (CTHK) NFT

A Journey through Yarn Land

Hey everyone, we would like to welcome you to the fantastic world of Crouching Tiger Hidden Kitten (CTHK), where felines have evolved into the dominant species and are now the main inhabitants of Yarn Land

We’ll only be releasing a very limited number of 3,333 NFTs in this collection, 2,222 of the total collection will be Felines (Cats), whereas 1,111 of them will be Pantheras (Tigers).

The lore for the CTHK universe is interesting, to say the least and we will elaborate it more later, with that being said, we have 3 alphas — which are the leaders of the clans and are very exclusive. As with all leaders, there must always be someone who acts as their second in command and that’s where the ‘Omegas’ come in; there are 30 omegas in the whole collection, 10 from each clan.

Lore of Crouching Tiger Hidden Kitten

In an alternate universe, Felines have evolved into sentient beings and become the dominant species on this planet. Instead of calling it Earth, the name that the planet goes by is now Yarn Land and the Felines have been living together in peace for millennia.

It was up until 200 years ago that a plague started terrorizing the entire population, no one knows how it happened or why it happened but due to this disaster; the Felines who have always been at peace with each other has split into 3 factions by reason of fear and different ideologies. The plague in question turns the docile Felines into fearsome Tigers but it doesn’t affect everyone and most of the Felines are immune to it, though for the unfortunate ones that do metamorphosis into beasts, they possess incredible strength and even cannibalize their own brethren.

Lykoi, the leader of the Tivali clan — is an Alpha who has embraced the curse and is now bound on conquering Yarn Land, waging war with the 2 other clans. Tem Purr Ra who leads the Ki Chi clan has decided to work together with the leader of the Purr Sian Empire — 9 Lives Lily and bring peace back to their homeland.

Clans Introduction
Tivali Clan

The Tivali clan is the most feared tribe in all of Yarn Land, they have accepted and embraced the plague and they use their newfound abilities to wreak havoc across the lands.

Members of this clan has bright gold fur which makes them easy to blend in with the others, and they have used this as a tactic to ambush other felines.

The only objective for this clan is to take over and conquer Yarn Land, preferably by force.

Ki Chi Clan

The Ki Chi clan hails from the East, and what differentiates them from the rest is that they carry emblems that appear to be Mandarin words for ‘Wealth’, ‘Prosperity’ and various other symbols.

Although they may appear cute, they are known to be tricksters. But thanks to this trait, they were able to escape from the clutches of the fearsome Tivali clan. In order for them to survive, they have decided to build an alliance with the Purr Sian Empire.

Purr Sian Empire / Purr Sian clan

The Purr Sian Empire has a rich history of culture and art, hence they are a very proud clan and rarely work with outsiders.

Disaster struck them when they least expected it, 150 years ago; the Tivali clan managed to ambush them through their disguise. Many lives were lost and a huge chunk of the Purr Sian Empire was taken, this event was known as ‘The Great Shame’.

Ever since then, members of the Purr Sian clan would wear a mask to conceal their face. As they were so humiliated by the fact that such tragedy could happen to them, therefore they have decided to work together with the Ki Chi clan to stop the barbaric Tivali clan.

Alpha Introductions

Lykoi (Tivali clan)

Lykoi is the leader of the Tivali clan, he was the first Feline to be struck by the plague. He was ecstatic with his transformation in to a Tiger, as he was able to run faster, jump higher and possesses strength that no other Feline could compare to.

With his newfound abilities, he decided to conquer Yarn Land as he felt that the world had owed him, Lykoi’s childhood was less than ideal as it was filled with trauma and bad memories.

He thanked the gods for his gift and for the first time in his life, he felt that something good was finally happening to him and he wasn’t going to waste it.

Tem Purr Ra (Ki Chi)

Tem Purr Ra was born gifted, he was chosen to lead the Ki Chi clan as he has shown to be a highly skilled strategist.

He was considered as the pioneer of carrying the emblem with Mandarin words, he used this strategy to distract the Tivali clan and they managed to avoid confrontation.

Tem Purr Ra is well aware of the growing carnage of the Tivali clan and he knows that he can’t beat them alone. But he is certain that with the help of the Purr Sian Empire, they would be able to bring peace back to Yarn Land.

9 Lives Lily (Purr Sia)

9 Lives Lily is the princess of the Purr Sian Empire, Lily is considered to be a very lucky Feline and has managed to escape death several time, hence the name.

Due to the fact that a large chunk of her homeland has been conquered by Lykoi, her only objective now is to take back what was supposed to be hers and her people.

She has lead several campaigns to defeat the Tivali clan but to no avail, when Tem Purr Ra proposed to have an alliance and to bring peace back to Yarn Land. She let go of her pride and accepted, Lily is willing to do anything to bring back the former glory of the Purr Sian Empire.

Alpha/Omega Pantheras

The Omegas are the trusted generals of the clan leaders and act as their second in command. There are only 30 Omegas in the whole collection and each of them is uniquely distinctive as they are all made to be one of a kind.

These Omegas are a class of their own and their designs are unparalleled. Each clan has 10 of their own Omegas and they wear badges or emblem that represents their clans. The Omegas in Ki Chi wear badges that resemble the ETH logo, whereas the Purr Sian Empire’s Omegas wear emblems that are similar to the Polygon logo and lastly, the Tivali clan wears a badge that looks like the symbol of Solana. So keep your eyes peeled and pledge your allegiance.

Staking $MEAT 🍖

Each Feline you Stake will entitle you to 3 $Meat, whereas for every Pantheras that you Stake you will earn 5$Meat. The $Meat is earned on a daily basis while you’re Staking your NFTs.

Holders of the CTHK Felines are able to utilise their $Meat to turn their Felines in to Pantheras!

Breeding

$Meat can be utilised for Breeding, as holders are able to use $Meat to breed their Pantheras. (This Utility will be unlocked as we progress through the roadmap.)

-Note on block-based timing: We will be using block-based timing for our launch and global reveal. This means that instead of someone manually opening a minting contract, the process will be streamlined to happen automatically at a certain ETH block. We will update the best estimated time of the starting block in our public communication, but in general, this means that the times are +/- a couple of minutes of our estimation.
